Privacy Policy

Unit Price Pro (“the App”, “we”) calculates and displays the price per unit of measure (e.g. €/kg, €/L) on a Shopify merchant’s storefront. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

We do not collect, store, or process shopper (customer) personal data. The App reads products and writes unit-price metafields on your own store — nothing more.

1 Data we access and store

Shop domain & access token (session) — to authenticate with the store’s Admin API. Stored in the App database; deleted on uninstall.
Product / variant net content & unit — to compute and display unit prices. Stored as Shopify metafields on the merchant’s own store.

We do not access orders, customers, customer PII, or payment data.

2 How we use the data

Only to read your products and variants, read & write the unit-price metafields you configure, and render the unit price on your storefront. We never sell data or use it for advertising. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify (Managed Pricing) — the App holds no payment information.

3 Subprocessors

Shopify — store data, Admin/Storefront APIs, and billing.
Vercel — hosts the App server.
Neon — hosts the App database.

4 Data retention & deletion

Uninstall (app/uninstalled): we delete your store’s sessions.
Shop redaction (shop/redact, ~48h after uninstall): we delete any remaining data for your shop.
Customer requests (customers/data_request, customers/redact): the App stores no customer personal data, so there is nothing to return or erase; we acknowledge these as required.

5 Security

All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Webhooks are verified with HMAC signatures. The App requests least privilege (write_products only).

7 Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change.
